ISI Thomson Reuters has changed the look and feel of the Journal Citation Reports!
The new version of JCR — ISI’s new InCites Journal Citation Reports — provides the data you use to evaluate and compare more than 12,000 scholarly and technical journals in the sciences and social sciences.
The new InCites interface improves JCR‘s usability with these new capabilities:
- Compare individual titles and subject groups of titles across many years back to 1997.
- Compare individual titles across the Science Citation Index / Social Sciences Citation Index divide.
- New metrics, including 5-year Journal Impact Factor, Eigenfactors, Journal self cites, and Rank-in-Category.
- Graphing and enhanced reporting and output options.
We’re exploring JCR‘s new interface, and we welcome your comments on its usability and performance. Please share your experiences here or contact your Penn Libraries subject specialist!
