Penn Libraries Events for Quaker Days 2015


The Penn Libraries will be opening its doors to welcome the Class of 2019 for Quaker Days.  A number of events are scheduled on April 13 & 14 where prospective Penn students can meet librarians and library staff and learn more about all the great resources, services and learning opportunities the Libraries have to offer.

Penn Libraries Open House
Monday, April 13, 11 to 2 pm.
Tuesday, April 14, 11 to 2 pm.
Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, 1st floor lobby
Take a self-guided tour of Van Pelt- Dietrich Library Center and learn more about the library resources and services available to all Penn Students.

3D Printing
Tuesday April 14, 9 to 11 am
Education Commons, 3rd Floor, Weiss Pavilion
Come explore 3D printing and other technology enhancements at the Education Commons, an exciting library space in Franklin Field. Located on the east end of campus, the Commons hosts classes, tutoring sessions, self-serve study spaces, and more. With a gym next door and a cafe downstairs, rentable laptops and open study spaces, once you come to the EC there’s no reason to leave.

Getting Creative: Communicating Effectively with New Media
Tuesday, April 14, 11:30 am to 1 pm

Come join us to explore one of the creative hubs on campus! Meet our students, program partners and staff. Learn about our expertise in video, animation, graphic design, web design, blogging and social media. Try out our collaboration spaces. Play with our gadgets. World Languages at Penn: Open House

The Penn Language Center in collaboration with Penn Libraries invites students and parents to the World Languages at Penn Open House.

Visitors are encouraged to take a self-guided tour of Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, attend one of our Quaker Days events, or stop by any one of our many libraries on campus.  We look forward to meeting you!
