The Penn Libraries have refreshed our HathiTrust records in Franklin: Catalog this morning, adding direct URLs for more than 384,000 HathiTrust e-books through new records and links added to existing records for print books in the Penn Libraries collections to reflect online availability in the HathiTrust Digital Library.
This update, the first since our initial October 2014 load of 2 million HathiTrust e-book records, provides a direct link to each of the 2.4 million public-domain and Creative Commons titles and 5.3 million public-domain volumes in the HathiTrust Digital Library, the archive for Google Books, Internet Archive books, and various in-house digitization projects.
Penn readers following a HathiTrust direct link from Franklin: Catalog will be directed to log in using their PennKey to download full-PDFs of public domain works and works made available under Creative Commons licenses. For more information about what’s downloadable in the HathiTrust Digital Library, see its FAQ on Printing/Downloading.
