British State Papers Online, The 18th Century

The libraries have added Part II of the British State Papers Online, Eighteenth Century. The entire State Papers database is a massive collection of primary source documents, The State Papers Online, 1509-1714 and State Papers Online, 18th Century. Both collections include the domestic and foreign papers of the Tudor and Stuart British governments. This most recently added segment, The Eighteenth Century, 1714-1782 covers State Papers Foreign, the Low Countries and Germany. Together, the papers represent the original documents, correspondence, reports, memoranda, and parliamentary drafts from ambassadors, civil servants and provincial administrators to present a full picture of Tudor and Stuart Britain. The Calendar of State Papers provide a summary of the manuscripts.
